Emergency Medical Services

The E.M.S. Division provides emergency medical service for anyone needing such care in Andover, as well as transportation to emergency-car facilities.  The ambulance also answers fire alarms as medical backup for both civilian victims of fire and emergency personnel. 

Residents and non-residents are billed for ambulance services through a third-party insurance billing agency.  Ambulances are dispatched from both the Central Fire Headquarters and the West Fire Substation.
