The 2011 Robert T. Black Memorial Officer of the Year Award was presented to Detectives Frank Fitzpatrick and Greg Scott for their extensive work in the field of drug enforcement.
The 2010 Black Award was presented to Officer Joseph Magliozzi for saving the life of an infant.
The 2009 Black Award was presented to Officer Kevin Burke in recognition to his extensive work in the field of fingerprint analysis.
September 2010
Officer Glen Ota was awarded the Department's Live Saving award when he successfully administered CPR to a worker off of River Street.
March 2010
Officer Joseph Magliozzi was presented the Department's Live Saving award when he administered CPR, successfully reviving a young infant.
February 2010
Officer Brian MacKenzie was presented the Department's Live Saving award when he proactively identified a woman in need and by his actions, saved her life.
June, 2008
Andover Officer Kevin Burke was awarded the Assistant Director's Award from the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services Division this month. He was one out of 10 people nationwide commended. Burke is a member of a panel developing national standards for fingerprint handling and is an expert in the field of fingerprint anaylsis.
