  1. Downtown Crosswalk Brick Replacement

    The installation of new bricks in crosswalks in the Downtown area begins June 1st.

    The Town's General Contractor will be replacing water mains on several streets around Town.

Our Mission

To provide a responsive, well-planned and cost-effective capital and maintenance operation for all Town infrastructure. To provide for the enjoyment of the Town’s public parks, grounds, forestry, and Spring Grove Cemetery. To continuously improve the quality of life for the community by protecting our water resources and by providing safe drinking water, state of the art disposal for our liquid and solid wastes, and safe travel on our roadways & sidewalks.
The Public Works divisions provide project planning and oversight for Town infrastructure construction projects including roadways, sidewalks, water treatment and distribution, and sewer collection.  All Town owned property and trees are cared for by Public Works' divisions in addition to the maintenance and perpetual care of Spring Grove Cemetery. Responsibilities also include the overseeing trash and recycling collections, both curbside and special collections.   

Responsibilities

The Administration/Business Office is responsible for long-range planning, and monitoring of the annual budget and assists Divisions with the Capital Improvement Program development. The Office also manages all personnel records, payroll, and coordination of hiring processes for the Department. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of departmental policies and providing administrative support for all divisions.
